This is a preliminary sketch for a comic I’m going to be drawing later this summer. The title of it is “The Transsexuals” and it’s a dual narrative about a group of young trans* people who happen to have super powers. That’s not all it’s about, but that’s the hook. It’s being written by trans/atheist blogger, Natalie Reed. ( [link] ). Anyway, this is was drawn with Pitt pens in my sketchbook. I’m trying REALLY hard to make my characters individuals. Nothing bothers me more than seeing an otherwise well drawn comic with characters who all have the same face. Seriously, where’s the fun in that? This is a first run through and my final character designs probably won’t look anything like this. Anyway, I’ll start drawing the comic proper next month when the first script comes in.
