Hello there, foxy folx,

’Tis the gig-hunting season again, and I am putting myself out there for Fall 2012 & Spring 2013 gigs. If you’re interested in bringing me to your community center or campus for a performance or a workshop, please have a look at my Booking Page and get in touch. Teaching & performing are part of how I make my living as a working artist, and they also feed me in a multitude of ways that are more than just financial. I love working with my writing students, and I love connecting with people who have gotten something out of my work, whether they’ve read it in a book or seen me perform. It really does mean the world to me.

Off the top of my head, cities I would especially love to work in are New York, Boston, Seattle, Toronto, Chicago, Portland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans (!), Montreal, and Vancouver. I am also very open to the smaller towns around the Midwest & Rust Belt, Pacific Northwest, the South, the Southwest, etc… I often love the small-town gigs best of all. :)

Lastly: Rose, Julia, and I are still scheming to make a Girl Talk tour a reality. This is a bigger undertaking than bringing one person out (or two people, if you are bringing me & a co-presenter out). But if you have the resources to bring 4-8 people to your school/organization/community center/etc, we definitely want to hear from you!
